Time management in a high workload environment is quiet a challenging task which almost every one of us face. These time management skills are self-taught tasks and you have to have a ‘get up and go’ otherwise no one’s going to do it for you.
Managing most of the
interruption, work-life balance, exercising, practicing good habits etc. is an
ideal task which lead one to success. The two most important things for
managing high work load are controlling your surroundings and certain
behavioral changes. Listed here few steps to help you manage high workload:
One of the secrets to
the world’s most successful people is the practice of 4am theory. This theory involves
practicing early rising habit at 4am in the morning. And this habit involves
going to bed early. Practice this habit because it’s going to save a lot of
your time for the rest of activities as meditation, exercise, running etc.
Most of us face the
trauma of saying ‘yes’ to every task assigned to us whether relevant or not. My
advice to you is learn to say ‘NO’ to the unnecessary tasks (such as unnecessary
favors, requests etc.) asked by someone to you as it is going to save you a lot
of time to manage your own tasks.
I know this is a loaded
task to be done but trust me it’s not impossible. Learn to manage your time by dividing
your it for the tasks to be done, going in descending order, meaning thereby
giving time to your most important tasks first and then the rest of it come
along. In this way you are going to learn time management skill with the time.
I believe, and for
instance, I suggest you to make a to do list or a schedule of the task that is
to be done either in a day, weekly, monthly or for any length of time you want.
It is hard to be followed because most of us lack consistency but what you can
do is, ‘practice’. Because practice makes it perfect.
While making a to-do
list, it is better that you prioritize the tasks in a fashion that the most
important one coming on top and the rest of it following it. Just as we have
talked about the descending order, but it is not necessarily to be written
down. You can practice brainstorming as well.
Well! There are lots of
benefits gain by meditation. It helps you better feel your own existence. Practicing
it early morning help freshen you up both physically and mentally and prepare
you for the entire hectic day.
